Hello fellow bloggers!!!! It’s me again. Sorry for disappearing since September, I’ll try not to let it happen again.

You haven’t really missed much though, work and college have been plodding along just fine. The only really notable things that have happened during my absence are that we moved house last month (due to the landlord from hell!!) and I was also diagnosed with Asthma, although the landlord from hell may possibly be linked to that too!! That aside, we’re much happier where we are now, with our 2 huge gardens (front and back) and real log burning fire!!

I’ve just recently finished work for Christmas but have still got to do all of my shopping. I was meant to get out yesterday but all this snow has hampered my plans!! As much as I love snow, it can be annoying when you’ve got things to do!

Well, I’ll leave it there for now and try to remember to come back here more often.

Once again I have neglected my journal!!! Sorry, fellow bloggers, I’ll try not to let it happen again!

Work started back again a few weeks ago so I’m still getting my head back into work mode after the summer break. The kids seemed to have settled into their new class now and it feels like we’ve never been away. This year we’ve decided to run some teacher lead after school clubs and I’ve volunteered to do a Spanish club. They all start next week and it sounds like I’ve got quite a lot interested!! I can’t wait to start.

I also recently enrolled at my local college for GCSE French and English classes, which I’m doing at night. They’ve been pretty good so far. Tiring, but good!

Anyway, just wanted to do a quick update. I’ll try and keep up to date with this thing from now on!! :)

So, it’s been a while since I posted an entry so I suppose I should post a little update to let you all know I’m still alive!! hehe

I’m currently half way through my summer break from work and just chilling out. I did go to a True Blood Fan Convention last weekend, though. I had a blast! The cast that came were so friendly and really seemed to enjoy themselves. The themed parties were fab……..but tiring!! I guess I’m just not used to partying 3 nights in a row!! Still, it was fun and I even booked my ticket for next year before the event had ended! Here are some of the pics I had taken….

I finally had my graduation today. Shame about the weather though, seems like all we ever get is rain at the moment!! So, I am now officially Helen Berrington BA (hons). Hooray!!

I finally got my dissertation back in the post this morning and have once again achieved another 2:1!!! So, I think it’s pretty safe to say I’ll be graduating in July with a 2:1!!

Well, it’s been a few weeks since I updated this so I’ll post a quickie.

At the moment, I’m half way through the half term break from work and still awaiting the result from my dissertation. I think that’ll be due within the next week or so.

Since my last post, I’ve discovered a new fandom (well, to me it’s new!) in the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris and also the tv adapatation, True Blood. I’m not too keen on how they’ve changed some of the characters’ personalities in the TV show but overall it’s still entertaining. Purely from reading the novels, I swiftly became completely nuts about Eric but it’s taken me a while to warm to TVEric. Luckily, I’ve seen the light and now have a MAJOR crush on Alexander Skarsgard, as you can tell by my avatar!!!! I’ve also just bought my ticket to a True Blood fan convention that’s happening over here in August and can’t wait! So far, Sam Trammell and Kristen Bauer are confirmed guests but there will be more announced soon!!

In other news, Matt Smith’s turn as the Doctor seems to be going well. He’s settled into the role now and starting to make it his own. However, there’ll only ever be one Doctor for me and that’s the lovely Mr Tennant.

Well, my dissertation has now been handed in so I can now officially relax and wait for the result. I do think it will pass as I’m quite confident about the content I’ve put in and also the fact that I’ve been repeatedly getting 2:1s throughout this course. I received the mark for the powerpoint presentation that I did back in March last week and that was also a 2:1. So, hopefully, as long as my dissertation mark is above 52%, I’ll be graduating with a 2:1!!

Speaking of graduations, I received my invitation through the post today. 19th July!! I can’t wait!! I’ve already ordered my cap and gown, now I can start the countdown!!
